Yannic Bartolozzi

Biography

Yannic is a freelance photographer. He mainly works in the field of architecture, Corporate photography, art reproduction photography and sometimes as a Press photographer. He also teach photography at Atelier 207.

Born 1981 in Morges, Switzerland, Yannic Bartolozzi currently lives and works around Lausanne. In 2008, he graduated from the Vevey school of applied arts (CEPV) and obtained the Swiss Federal Capacity Diploma for photography (CFC). He then furthered his studies to obtain the Diploma of the Superior Photography School of Vevey. In 2016, with three others collegues, he founded a new photography workspace called «Atelier 207», based in Penthalaz, Switzerland.

In his artistic approach, not deprived of romanticism, Yannic is guided by a strong sense of curiosity and a love for travel. His photographic work aims to use the camera in order to raise questions and explore the world. Yannic’s photographs are a combination of fiction and documentary. He likes transforming the reality into universes of imaginary journeys, in places where lonely human seems facing unlimited wilderness. He has participate to several personal and group exhibitions, and like to produce books.
